new opportunity for educate people waste sorting.
By mixing two different idea together, one concept
we came out is a playful recycle learning machine,
that makes the waste sorting like a game.

Shanghai started its new
waste sorting system,
which makes huge change
compare with the old one.
About 50 cities decided to follow
However,
Most cities have a hard time
to push their newsystem. The hardware got updated, but
citizens refused to change.
Hard to learn and use
The complex new system is hard
for every citizens to learn and
change. Once a setback happened,
people prefer to go back.
Four zone matches
four kinds of waste.
After throw the ball
into the right trash
hoop, player can
get points.
Player need to distinguish what
kinds of waste on screen, and throw
the ball into the right trash hoop.
By setting every game to 30 seconds,
children can compete who get higher
score, and learning the knowledge at
the same time.
Easier to remember than the pithy formula/exhibition board.
Design opportunity
We want to design something that can help waste sorting system implement. not only citizens but also children can play to learn.
